George, there was one video where you were pontificating and getting all hyped up about some sleazy marketing strategy and I LOVED IT! It was so HUMAN. That was the first time I was like - ok, he's in touch with all the different George's inside him - even the angry, frustrated, cranky one. You're not the "love and light brigade." You show up as you!!! AND you show others that we can withstand the internet. That's a powerful message.

I love your work, totally resonates. I just wrote a post on gratitude and 2 people unsubscribed... didn't know why people wouldn't want to hear about it, but I guess they're not my people? Thank you for your encouragement!

That's a good example of some people not resonating with a certain energy at this time! No judgement on them, and they may return again in the future. Keep writing what is true to your experience and what you believe will serve your ideal readers!😊

Love this, George. Thanks for it. As I take it in I'm like, yep - and now it's time to just put in the reps. I came across another 'be seen' teacher/influencer who framed it as a dare. Daring yourself to do something scary/growth-oriented each day. there's definitely some sort of like pushing through feeling within it all for me. Like pushing through the fear/risk of getting dog piled, knowing I can handle whatever gets thrown my way, not letting push back drag me down, rooting myself in knowing who I am and my values and what I stand for and really whole heartedly, whole-bodily believing in that, grounding in that

I LOVE this comment! I hope you'll expand that into its own post. It's en-courage-ing to see your perspective 🙏🏼

Thank you for this reminder, George. I am just coming out of a little funk about having clarified the focus of my work and at the same time battling feeling like I'm starting all over again. This is a reminder that consistent, slow and steady and authentic expression is the way to go. Thank you!

Interestingly, I feel like this year I'm starting over as well! As we learn and grow, we shed old forms that are less relevant and then, if we are to truly grow more, we'll take on a beginner's mindset :)

It's great to be reminded of this - particularly as sometimes platforms like Facebook can feel quite impersonal and a bit like trying to get attention of random passers by in a train station. It's easy to try and appeal to them but totally agree that being yourself is more important and gains more long term followers. On a different note, I tried to follow Mark Walsh as I like to listen to a diversity of views, but I just couldn't understand what he was going on about!

Thanks for your comment Mark! You are blessed to have quite an audience on FB, and yes I agree that the more you are real with what you feel is your authentic presence and message, the more long-term followers you'll have.

Thanks for this, George! You've reminded me not to take it too personally when someone unsubscribes and that's very valuable. Keep up the good work!

so true -- we often don't know why people unsubscribe... well, it's often overwhelm even though they like us (and may continue following us elsewhere)!

Thanks for this George! I appreciate how you are a leading voice for authenticity in a world of "slick selling," and remind people of the soul side of work.
