I read a good comment today, which said - β€œ we are more likely to fail if we care too much about the success or failure of a venture β€œ It reminded me if how our self esteem needs to be solid and not predicated on what we do.

Yes! And, we grow authentic self esteem by caring about the process: making plans, showing up for the plans, and accomplishing our plans (working lightly) without attachment to the results...
